A little rose from Clay
May 8, 2020
Everyone is excited about re-opening!
Here at Bigfoot we are working on new guidelines to keep us all safe β and awaiting further details from the government regarding a potential opening date. In the meantime, remember to stop and smell the roses, and maybe give your mom a hug this Mothers Day weekend (if you decide itβs safe π) Love you all and canβt wait to see you!
Looking Forward
April 16, 2020
Hey everyone out there! We truly hope youβre all doing well in these strange times we find ourselves in, β whether youβre providing an essential service, staying home or navigating the new social distancing protocols. We just wanted to reach out to you and let you know we are thinking of you. Trust that you are where you are meant to be, find the Love in your Heart and Care for those near you β including yourself. We are Looking Forward to creating a new world with you.
Today the Provincial Health Minister extended her order for Personal Service Establishments to close until May 30 subject to revision, cancellation or extension. So weβll continue to see you online for now and let you know as soon as we are able to open the shop again.
Love and virtual hugs!
COVID-19 Update
March 21, 2020
Hello beautiful people! We have been following the developments regarding Covid-19 and like many other businesses, we decided to close our doors this week. We wish you all health and look forward to seeing you again as soon we can. We will of course honor all deposits in the future. In the meantime, Kelly has prints and paintings for sale, and we would be more than happy to provide GCs or take deposits through e-transfer. Thank you everyone for supporting us with our new shop and we hope you enjoy the Spring weather with your loved ones!
Clay Walker
Bigfoot Tattoos is owned by Clay Walker. Clay has been tattooing in Kamloops since 2009. Clay also paints canvases and murals.
Clay started with a 3 year apprenticeship at the once prominent Eye Candy Ink Tattoos by Tania Henigar β who has retired. As a self taught artist Clay began drawing and painting at a young age referencing the natural world for inspiration. Realism is a strong point in his art so he tends to use that technique in custom pieces that bring the imagination and fantasy to life with forced perspectives, use of negative space, body flow, etc.
Clay will work with you on your idea to create something to suit your needs β no matter the challenge.
Kevyn Harper
Bigfoot Tattoos is proud to have the talented Kevyn Harper joining the team.
Kevyn trained under Canadian legend Tom Coles. Under an old school apprenticeship he became versed in all styles of tattooing. As a student of art history, Kevyn is now most interested in dark expressionist forms of art β but is able to meet any style from 17 years of experience.
Kelly Wright
Bigfoot Tattoos is stoked to have Kelly Wright as part of the crew and learning the trade.
If youβve walked around Kamloops chances are youβve seen Kellyβs bright colourful mural work in multiple places in the downtown core and north shore.
Kelly has some prints and paintings available for sale too.
